Ademola Lookman has completely transformed Portsmouth’s attack. His pace, creativity and ability to beat defenders have added a new dimension to the team. Whether he’s scoring goals, creating chances or dragging defenders out of position, he constantly makes things happen.
His movement gives the attack so much more fluidity, and his work rate off the ball is just as important as what he produces going forward. Since arriving, Portsmouth have looked far more dangerous in the final third, and it’s no coincidence that the team’s attacking performances have improved.
Right now, Lookman isn’t just one of Portsmouth’s best players—he’s a vital part of the team and one of the biggest reasons the attack has become so effective.
